Angelica #1

Angelica is a tall, aromatic herb with fern-like leaves and umbrella-shaped clusters of small white or greenish flowers. It’s valued for its medicinal and culinary uses, often in liqueurs like gin and vermouth, or candied for desserts. To grow, plant in rich, moist, well-drained soil in partial shade. Sow seeds directly in autumn or early spring. Harvest stems and roots in the second year when the plant is most potent. Angelica is used for digestive aid, flavoring, and as a natural remedy.

If flower stalks are cut before seeds form can be kept as perennial. Slow germinator!
