Mint starter plants are fast-growing herbs with bright green, serrated leaves and a refreshing aroma. They typically arrive in small pots with well-draining soil, standing about 3-6 inches tall. Mint spreads rapidly through underground runners, making it a vigorous grower. It thrives in partial to full sun and moist soil, making it perfect for container gardening to control its spread. Widely used for culinary, medicinal, and aromatic purposes, mint provides a continuous harvest when pruned regularly to encourage bushy growth.
Upon arrival, unpack mint plants carefully and inspect for damage. Place them in a sunny or partially shaded area with at least 4-6 hours of sunlight. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. If needed, transplant into a larger container to prevent aggressive spreading. Trim leaves regularly to promote bushier growth. Fertilize lightly every few weeks for healthier, more vigorous plants.
